Hopefully a lot of you would have see the D-Box television spectacular on the "Satfest" show (18th Jan. 98).
If you did you will now know of the new and exciting things that are now happening on the upgrade front.
However for those of you that were unfortunate and missed it. I will now elaborate.
Higher channel storage upgrade.
This upgrade will be carried out in house and as a result will be in line with the other upgrades on turn around time running at about 2-3 days (plus 1 days delivery). The advantages of this upgrade are great as it enable you to smash though the previous memory limitation of about 460-480 channels. You will in fact have two program areas both of which will store between 580-600 channels. Giving an expected storage capacity of about 1200, TV and radio included.
The price for this upgrade is £95.00 + VAT & delivery.
Again this will be an in-house upgrade so expect turn around times to be about the same (2-3 days).
This upgrade will give you the ability to have two card in the machine at any one time. This outstanding upgrade will work with any two active cards. The switch between the two cards is done on the normal remote control using the TV button and is a remarkably smooth transition.
The price for this is also still to be set but is expected to be about £100.00 + VAT & delivery.
